Description: A documentary film depicting the voyage of eight hundred European Jews to Palestine in 1940. Racial intolerance fueled by fascism and war is likened to a flood, a ship with Jews then to Noah's ark, a bridge to free life. The importance of children on board is emphasized, the birth of one passenger is captured. The black-and-white film in the voiceover in the author's plural (we) also accompanies singing probably in Yiddish. The original material was discovered in Prague after WWII, where it was edited and released by Krátký film.
